RANGENCY was formed to help business leaders accelerate their brands by bringing together the best new media, advertising, marketing and public relations talent in the St. Louis area.

We work to provide the most relevant services for your business. Most importantly, we practice what we preach, we do not recommend services, or project teams that we would not work with in our own business.

From website development and social media strategy, to public relations and traditional marketing, RANGENCY will help expose your brand to the audiences you want to reach.

Meet Our Principals

Nick Leidenfrost • Software & New Media Development

It only took a few days of Nick's first programming course for him to realize that his time as a pre-med student would be short-lived; the next semester found him enrolled in the School of Engineering & Applied Science (R.I.P. pre-med aspirations Aug. 1999 - Jan 2000). After graduating from Washington University with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Nick went on to get a master's degree in software engineering, focusing on frameworks for database schema evolution.

Schooling behind him, Nick went to work for a small software development firm in St. Louis, where he played merrily in C and C++ until an opportunity to start a business with a friend drew him into entrepreneurship. Having learned PHP, MySQL, and AJAX for a web-based inventory management side-project, Nick found developing websites, content management systems (CMSs) and Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) to be a natural extension of his talents.

Nick's real passion lies in writing rich user interfaces, providing clients with the most control over their websites as possible, and erasing the boundary in functionality between native and internet-based applications.

Terrie Rolwes • Customer Experience Training

In the mid 1990's Terrie Rolwes started creating WoW moments for her customers while demonstrating some of the first computers to hit the retail shelves. With their eyes wide with fear and their hands shaking, she encouraged customers to get in the driver's seat and experience the world of computing. A customer was no longer dizzy with "speeds and feeds," they were now put in the driver's seat to experience the products and engage with what the products could do to make their life easier. It was all about creating WoW Moments before it became a marketing term and at the same time increasing sales. During her 15 year tenure with Compaq and HP she drew from her customer engagement experiences when making decisions. As customers became more tech savvy she was continually challenged and found the ways to shake up the way sales associates were training and how technology products were sold at retail by incorporating experiential training, sales and marketing methods. Creating WoW moments and being customer centric guided every decision. What helped revolutionize personal computer and printer sales can now help your business. Terrie's enjoyed varying roles at Compaq and HP. Beginning as a store rep, she went on to leadership roles including field sales and merchandising management, National Sales Development and Training Manager, National Account Manager selling to retailers such as Best Buy & Radio Shack, and was an integral part of the HP Consumer Marketing team.
